Thankfully at the end of last week I finally received copies of Silver Balloons In Clusters. All pre-orders have now shipped. Should be available from the usual UK outlets in the next few days. Experimedia should have copies next week.

I’ve also now approved the test pressings for Go Around, Again by Black Eagle Child. This is Michael’s second outing on UTS and I’m yet again honoured to be putting out his music. Will be 250 copies in full colour reverse printed sleeves. Head over tot he shop where you can pre-order a copy for the bargain price of £10. Goes up to £12 as soon as I get the finished copies in about 2 weeks.

I will hopefully be releasing Illumination by Panabrite before summer. You buy records, I release more. Pretty simple really.

Quicksails and Concessionaires pressing problems.

Both the pressings of Spire 046 and 047 have run into problems. Both have taken far longer than I anticipated by quite a while, I have now been promised that I should get copies of both by the end of this week. I can assure everyone who has pre-ordered I will send them out as soon as they arrive. Please accept my sincerest apologies about the delay, I have learned a valuable lesson. From now on I will not put any releases up for pre-order until the test pressings have been approved at the very earliest.

Thanks as always for your support, as soon as I receive copes I will be sure to post here and all the usual places (Facebook, Twitter etc)

Hello again.

Hope you had a great Christmas and new year, thanks yet again for all your support in 2011.
I’ve dropped the prices on pretty much everything available apart from the Refractor LP so head over to the store if you’d like to grab a bargain.

The first release of the year will be from Quicksails. Shortly after will be releases from Concessionaires, Good Stuff House and there will be some new tee’s available very soon in new colours. Lots of folk wanted a tee that shows up the design better so that’s what you’ll get!

Hello all.
As you’ve probably guessed the webshop is now up and running again and orders are being sent out as normal.
Now available for pre-order is The Inescapable Fox by Steven Hess + Christopher McFall. It will be available in a run of 200 LP’s in matt sleeve. Should be ready in the next couple of weeks.
After that will be an album from Refractor called Locus Suspectus.
This again will be available in a run of 200 LP’s.
It looks like the autumn is upon us so grab yourself an UTS tee. Head over to the shop to score one.

Hollywood on sale, Matt’s solo album now available to order

To celebrate the release of Matt Christensen’s solo album I have now rediuced the price of Spire 035 for a limited time. I still have copies of the business card CD that was given away when the album was released but they are very limited so its on a first come first served basis.

A Cradle In The Bowery is now available to buy on CD and vinyl from the UTS shop.

Now available to order on the UTS website are Spire040 and 041 on both CD and futuristic black vinyl.

Spire040 CD is available now, vinyl is due to ship May 10th. 300CD/200 vinyl.

Spire041 CD and vinyl should be shipping by the end of the month, hopefully sooner.
The CD will only be available directly from the label and is limited to 150 copies. Vinyl 200.
Initial vinyl pre-orders of Spire041 will also get a copy of the CD so act fast if you’d like both formats.

Spire041: Myrmyr – Fire Star

The sophmore release from Agnes Szelag and Marielle Jakobsons (Darwinsbitch/Date Palms) aka Myrmyr.
Following on from their first album, The Amber Sea on Digitalis in 2009 this new album was recoded on Shasta Mountain in April 2010.
